Adam Sandler‘s bringing out all of his best friends for his new comedy tour.
The “Happy Gilmore” actor launched his You’re My Best Friend Tour in Florida over the Sept. 5-7 weekend, bringing joy to the ’80s and ’90s kids in the crowd with guest appearances from the likes of longtime collaborator and “Grown Ups” costar Kevin James and rapper Vanilla Ice.
At the Jacksonville, Tampa and Miami shows, Sandler treated the crowds to a performance of the 1990 chart-topper “Ice Ice Baby.”
Sandler started strumming the iconic opening chords for “Ice Ice Baby” and introduced Vanilla Ice, who prepared the audience to “fire it up,” according to a fan footage from the Sept. 6 Tampa show.
“Everybody is officially a teenager right now!” Vanilla Ice said. “We’re back in the ’90s right now.”
The rapper is currently performing on the I Love The 90s Tour.
A backwards cap-donning James then joined onstage and gave his knees quite the workout with his dance moves. Also dancing on stage? Michelangelo from “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles,” in reference to the musician’s 1991 track “Ninja Rap.”
During his Miami show, according to another fan’s video, Sandler and James did a bit about the “Paul Blart: Mall Cop” star being sad about missing Sandler and buying a ticket to see his show.
Adam Sandler’s Netflix special: ‘Love You’ is half dumb, half sweet — and very odd
“Do you not know how much I love you? I love you with all of my heart,” Sandler told James as he stood in an aisle. “Kevin, even if we’re not together, you’ve just got to know I’m thinking of ya.”
Sandler then launched into a duet about their relationship that featured vocals from James that no one − by any stretch of the imagination − would call harmonizing.
Sandler’s set also brought back his tribute song to late “SNL” and “Grown Ups” costar Chris Farley, who died in 1997.
The North American tour stops in New York City, Boston, Toronto, Chicago and Seattle before closing out in Las Vegas on Nov. 1
